- Salary $113,022 - $136,747 plus superannuation
Community Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to the safety of the community by applying practices that reduce reoffending and connect individuals to programs, services and community. CCS provides management of individuals on court orders, people who have committed serious sex offences on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.
About the role:
The Manager, Professional Practice drives and develops strategic regional improvements to maximise practice effectiveness and the continued improvement in case management across both the Court Practice and Parole and Post Sentence streams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Enhance the quality and effectiveness of case management through the provision of individual support and professional development for case management staff, supervisors and managers
- Increase the application of evidence-based case management practice.
- Supervise Professional Practice Advisers
- Conduct regular case practice audits on staff and deliver regular practice forums and education sessions to embed best practices across the region.
The Manager, Professional Practice is required to participate in the “on call” after hours Duty Director system. Travel to other locations in the North West Metropolitan Area is required.
About you:
- Extensive experience in the case management of complex and/or high-risk individuals.
- Highly developed understanding of and experience in best practice initiatives in relation to risk management and therapeutic work with high risk and complex individuals.
- Ability to create opportunities to improve knowledge of teams in the area of diversity and inclusion and amongst ccs staff.
