At Community Correctional Services (CCS), we work every day to reduce reoffending and support safer communities. Through evidence-based case management and rehabilitation, we help individuals address the underlying causes of their offending and create meaningful change in their lives.

We manage people on community-based court orders, post-sentence supervision, and parole. Our focus is on providing the structure, accountability, and support needed for successful reintegration into the community.

About the role:

Senior Parole Officers deliver high-quality case management to a complex, high-risk caseload of individuals on parole who have committed serious sexual or violent offences.

In this autonomous role, you will apply advanced professional judgement to manage risk, support rehabilitation, and prioritise community safety in line with the Corrections Victoria Offender Management Framework.

You will work with individuals under correctional supervision, internal stakeholders, and external service providers to ensure structured, evidence-based case management that reduces reoffending and promotes safer communities.

What You'll Do

• Manage a complex caseload of high-priority individuals subject to Parole Orders
• Continuously assess and respond to dynamic risk factors, with community safety as the primary consideration
• Conduct interviews, assessments, and referrals to specialised treatment and intervention programs
• Prepare and coordinate high-quality reports, briefings, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders
• Install and maintain electronic monitoring equipment and conduct home visits
• Apply professional judgement within legislative and policy frameworks

About You

You are a confident, accountable professional who can manage complexity and make sound decisions under pressure.

You bring:

• Strong knowledge of best-practice case management frameworks and risk assessment principles
• The ability to exercise independent judgement while operating within established guidelines
• Confidence in articulating professional opinions, while remaining open to challenge and alternative perspectives
• Adaptability and resilience when managing shifting priorities
• A demonstrated commitment to inclusive practice and cultural responsiveness
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to understand diverse motivations, needs and perspectives
