FIS provides evidence-based screening, assessment and intervention services for individuals in custody and the community. We focus on areas such as violent and sexual offending, restorative justice, violent extremism and family violence.
As the intake officer, you will manage the intake and referral process for service users across Victoria. You will ensure people receive the appropriate assessment and treatment services. You will update service user records and respond to enquiries, respecting the department's guidelines. You will also work closely with staff and stakeholders to support smooth service delivery.

What you will do
As an intake officer, you will manage the intake and referral process for service users across Victoria.
You will:
- Handle referrals for prisons and Community Correctional Services (CCS), making sure all necessary information is collected.
- Keep service user records up to date to track their personal progress.
- Respond to enquiries or pass them on to the right person, following clear guidelines.
