About us

The Security and Intelligence Division of Corrections Victoria is responsible for the provision of security and intelligence services for the correctional system. This division provides security and emergency management, electronic monitoring and intelligence services, and works with other law enforcement agencies to maintain a secure and safe correctional system.

About the role

As the Executive Assistant, you will provide executive and administrative support to the Assistant Commissioner, Security and Intelligence, as well as senior managers within the division. This involves dealing with confidential and sensitive information requiring a high level of professionalism and discretion.  Priorities for this role include; managing the Assistant Commissioner's schedule and appointments, providing support for meetings and events, coordinating divisional reports, and ensuring that all necessary liaison and support services are provided and co-ordinated. In addition, the role will be required to attend to a diverse range of matters submitted for the Assistant Commissioner's consideration or approval and determine necessary priorities and approval methods.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant to senior management within a highly sensitive environment
  • skill and experience in using TRIM, the Departments electronic document management system
  • demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
