An exciting ongoing opportunity exists for a General Manager, Electronic Monitoring Program in the Security and Intelligence division at the head office location in Melbourne.

Corrections Victoria's Electronic Monitoring Program, inclusive of the 24/7 Electronic Monitoring Centre, is a business unit within the Security & Intelligence Division.

The General Manager has responsibility for the management of the 24/7 Electronic Monitoring Centre and the central Electronic Monitoring Program team, which maintains the quality assurance and oversight of the state-wide program. The position requires a breadth of skills to manage a complex and high profile service, which includes a range of technological solutions that operates within different legislative frameworks, to meet policy and operational requirements. The role also requires the development and maintenance of strong partnerships with various technology contractors and a range of internal and external stakeholders.

This role will suit a highly motivated, and solutions focused individual who has leadership experience within a state-wide service program, and understands the complexity of using technological solutions to assist in offender rehabilitation and community protection.

The General Manager will be required to undertake after hours on-call activity as a part of 24/7 support of the Electronic Monitoring Centre, incident management and response assistance with technological matters.

As our ideal candidate, you will be required to demonstrate:

  • Experience in managing statewide programs
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of a corrections environment and new technologies related to offender management
  • Strong conceptual and analytical ability
