About us

Located on the fringe of Melbourne CBD, the Melbourne Assessment Prison (MAP) is a maximum-security facility providing statewide assessment and orientation services for all male prisoners received into the prison system. The MAP consists of the prison, the custody facilities at the County, Supreme and Appeal Courts, and holding cells at St Vincent's Hospital for prisoners requiring outpatient medical treatment.

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail focused individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment to join our Records team on an ongoing basis.

As the Justice Officer - Records, you will provide high quality services and perform all functions pertaining to prisoner records, Individual Management File registry and prison archives at MAP.

This position will involve weekend and public holiday work, remunerated in accordance with the applicable provision of the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement 2016.
