About us

H.M. Prison Dhurringile is a minimum security facility accommodating 328 male prisoners, located 160km north of Melbourne.

About the role

As the Administration Officer, you will provide accurate and timely administrative and support services to regional locations and staff.

Part of the role is focused on client services with your responsibilities including responding to over the counter enquiries, providing information and assistance with matters relating to DOJ portfolio, reception duties, coordinating schedules for program areas and delivery of services for prisoners.

The administrative part of the role will include reception, financial duties, mail sorting, basic correspondence, human resource duties, fleet and facility duties, maintenance of a range of electronic information and filing systems.

Please note that this position will require direct prisoner contact and may involve after hours, weekend and public holiday work, remunerated in accordance with the applicable provision of the VPS Determination.
