Corrections Victoria's Sex Offender Management Branch was established to ensure a streamlined, whole-of-system approach to the management of sexual offenders in Victoria. The Branch coordinates specialist service delivery, has implemented a quality system of targeted case management and ensures the identification and effective supervision of high risk sexual offenders.

The Manager DSO Operations is responsible for the operational oversight of offenders subject to post-sentence supervision. Particular responsibility will include coordination of the breach process, including attendance at court, liaison with relevant legal firms and oversight of supervision order offenders returning to, and exiting from, custody.

As our ideal candidate, you will be required to have:

  • demonstrated experience in providing leadership within a highly complex service delivery area, preferably in relation to clients with multiple and complex needs and/or within a legislative framework
  • proven ability in building and sustaining operational capability within challenging operating environment
  • experience in the management of sexual offenders and/or a correctional environment will be considered favourably.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in legal, social work policy or social sciences is preferred, but not mandatory.
