About us

The Offender Management Division of Corrections Victoria (CV) is responsible for managing the movement of prisoners through the system, for reducing reoffending by assessing risk to inform case management and intervention pathways, and for delivery of programs and services that engage offenders in positive behavioural change, ensuring all programs are delivered to the highest standards and best practice is maintained.

About the role

The Manager, Offender Case Management is responsible for the implementation and ongoing quality assurance of the case management processes across prisons and Community Correctional Services. This role will be responsible for ensuring evidence-based case management. This role will also focus on the development of processes and practices to ensure integrity of case management undertaken to inform the development of quality management frameworks across streams.

This role will also be responsible for developing, maintaining and ensuring consistency with CV operational standards that apply to case management as informed by the risk assessment tool.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • a demonstrated high-level expertise in evidence-based case management that delivers structured outcomes within correctional or human service delivery systems
  • proven leadership in delivering organisational development and culture change programs and strategies, and experience in delivering business improvements
  • excellent strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement business plans consistent with operational framework
  • superior people management, communication, influencing and negotiation skills in order to achieve organisational objectives.
