An exciting opportunity exists for a Manager, Quality and Standards Unit on a fixed term basis until March 2019.

About us

The Offender Management Division of Corrections Victoria (CV) is responsible for providing best practice interventions which aim to reduce the risk of reoffending including case management, offending behaviour programs, and transition and reintegration supports. The Rehabilitation and Reintegration Branch of the Offender Management Division, is responsible for the design and development of a range of programs and services to effectively facilitate and support positive behaviour change. 

About the role

The Manager, Quality and Standards Unit is responsible for leading the development, implementation and monitoring of service delivery standards for the delivery of Rehabilitation and Reintegration services state wide. Leading the implementation and management of performance measurement standards for offence specific and offence related programs and service pathways, the Manager will demonstrate innovation and best practice in the development of key frameworks that ensure correctional practice is of the highest standard.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience managing, developing, and monitoring complex service delivery environments.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing service and quality improvement initiatives.
  • An ability to identify emerging strategic issues and effectively provide authoritative advise to senior executive relating to state wide and regional activity.

This position is designed to address high-level government policy, legal, stakeholder and operational priorities. Your ability to utilise your knowledge of service delivery standards in a correctional environment and build an effective network with key stakeholders to provide expert advice will be critical to the success of this role.
